Although Tiffany is not an educator in the sense that so many of us view education, she is in the education field, educating her peers and consumers on how to succeed in her field, acupuncture. I love her dedication to this program and the way she adapts our assignments to make them relevant for her. Her Relevant and Innovative Learning Scenario is one that I can see duplicating in my own classroom. Take a look at her blog, Elemental Learning, where she explains how relevant YouTube and social media can actually be! Click here to follow my comment on her blog.
Derek has a passion for teaching and it shows in ALL of his blog posts. His desire to learn is translated into each word he writes. Derek and I are doing a very similar Challenge-Based Research Project and it is extremely interesting and valuable for me to follow his blogs! His Relevant and Innovative Learning Scenario is one that deals with math facts, of which I DO NOT teach, but also one that my math educating colleagues can most definitely duplicate in their own classrooms. Take a look at his blog, Derek Gualandri’s Blog, where he explains how to use the Web 2.0 tool, Khan Academy. Click here to follow my comment on his blog.
